Tegrity.AI — Applied Research and Technology

Tegrity.AI is an applied research and technology programme of The Integral Management Society, developing architectures, operational technologies and applied research for the integrity of AI-enabled complex systems.

Our core research develops Structural Awareness for Operational Integrity in Adaptive Systems as the umbrella connecting Tegrity.AI’s related capabilities, architectures and management discussions.

The work connects architectural research, operational technologies, technical papers, reference models, validation, pilots and contributions to international standards and policy.

Structural Awareness for operational integrity in adaptive systems

Structural Awareness and Regime Awareness

Structural Awareness is the umbrella research architecture connecting Tegrity.AI’s work on how organisations and AI-enabled systems detect divergence between their representations, operating assumptions, control structures and operational reality.

Regime Awareness is a technologically developed core capability now in validation. It examines whether an adaptive system can detect when its operating regime, assumptions, authority structures or control mechanisms are becoming invalid and respond before local deviations become systemic failures.

The capability builds on historically implemented operational technologies. Its current validation route supports the collaboration being formalised with QAVA/UV (Universitat de València).

Other Structural Awareness Lines

Each line addresses a distinct form of divergence between representation, operational reality, control structures and the capacity to act.

Cost of Clarity

The Cost of Clarity examines the information required to establish a sufficiently reliable representation of an organisation before a transformation — especially an AI-enabled transformation — can be designed and governed safely.

Explore Cost of Clarity

Human Intelligence Debt

Human Intelligence Debt examines the additional reconciliation, checking and exception-handling work people perform to compensate for fragmented information and unresolved architectural gaps. Together with Cost of Clarity, this line supports the proposed RUP Estonia route and the research relationship being developed with TalTech.

AI Integrity Management Architecture

A related management and policy discussion on how safety, governance, compliance, ethics, cybersecurity and operational responsibility can be coordinated without collapsing their distinct roles.

AI Operational Integrity Architecture

A technical architecture line examining how AI-enabled systems retain operational integrity when environments, assumptions and protective control envelopes change.

Attribution Gap and Capability Loss

This line examines how transformations can misidentify, undervalue or destroy capabilities when the recorded representation of an organisation diverges from how value is actually produced. Insufficient information — the problem examined through the Cost of Clarity — is one cause of this attribution gap.

Informational Friction

This line studies the friction created when formal information structures, system boundaries and operational flows no longer describe how work and decisions actually move. That divergence can become a structural cause of regime change monitored through Regime Awareness.

Tegrity.AI Research Network

Tegrity.AI works through contribution-based research and technology collaborations organised around defined questions, prototypes, pilots and validation.

Participation is contribution-based and tied to defined work and outputs.

The Integral Management Society Ecosystem

The Integral Management Society logo

Tegrity.AI is an applied research and technology programme of The Integral Management Society, a Geneva-based Swiss non-profit association focused on the review and development of standards, architectures and technologies for the common good.

Under the Society’s statutes and governance, Tegrity.AI may operate under its own name and represent the Society within the fields assigned to the programme, subject to its approved mandate and applicable authorisations.

The current ecosystem includes The Integral Management Society S.A.S. de C.V. / JubAp.Net in Mexico and OÜ JUBAP / JubAp.eu in Estonia (registry code 16941644). Participation is scoped to the work and responsibilities agreed for each project.

Standards Contributions

Tegrity.AI contributes research findings and technical proposals to selected public pre-standardisation and standards processes. References do not imply endorsement, adoption, certification or formal affiliation.
