Mandate

Tegrity.AI is an applied research and technology programme of The Integral Management Society, developing architectures, operational technologies and applied research for the integrity of AI-enabled complex systems.

The Society is a Geneva-based Swiss non-profit association focused on the review and development of standards, architectures and technologies for the common good. Under the Society’s statutes and governance, Tegrity.AI may operate under its own name and represent the Society within the fields assigned to the programme, subject to its approved mandate and applicable authorisations.

The work connects architectural research, operational technologies, technical papers, reference models, validation, pilots and contributions to international standards and policy.

Our vision is broad. Our work is concrete.

§ 02

Research architecture

Structural Awareness is the umbrella research architecture connecting the programme’s work on how organisations and AI-enabled systems detect divergence between their representations, operating assumptions, control structures and operational reality.

Each work item in § 03 addresses a distinct form of structural divergence. Regime Awareness is the current priority: it selects causally admissible historical context for an existing forecasting, decision or control system rather than forecasting the future itself.

Regime Awareness method boundary: observed history passes through an admissibility selector into a semantic window used by an existing forecasting, decision or control system; the selector has no direct future-value output.

§ 04

Current priority — Regime Awareness

Regime Awareness is a technologically developed core capability now in validation. It examines whether an adaptive system can detect when its operating regime, assumptions, authority structures or control mechanisms are becoming invalid and respond before local deviations become systemic failures.

The capability builds on historically implemented operational technologies. Its current validation route supports the collaboration being formalised with QAVA/UV (Universitat de València). The historical systems-study line is documented through the Phylons networks series and the sXeil technical series. § 05

Programme phases

01Conceptual Formalisation

Delimit Structural Awareness and its workstreams, define system boundaries and establish falsifiable research questions.

02Regime Awareness ValidationCurrent priority

Validate the developed Regime Awareness capability through defined tests and the collaboration being formalised with QAVA/UV (Universitat de València).

03Research and Technology Development

Develop the Cost of Clarity and Human Intelligence Debt research line through the proposed RUP Estonia route, with TalTech engagement subject to institutional and funding confirmation.

04Organisational and Academic Evaluation

Evaluate the relevant capabilities in organisational and academic settings, with independent review where applicable.

05Publication and Standards Contribution

Publish technical papers, reference materials and selected open implementations, and translate relevant findings into contributions to international standards and policy discussions.

§ 06

Standards contributions

Tegrity.AI contributes research findings and technical proposals to ITU-T pre-standardisation work. Each Focus Group has a distinct remit; the table separates that remit from our contribution.

The current ecosystem includes The Integral Management Society S.A.S. de C.V. / JubAp.Net in Mexico and OÜ JUBAP / JubAp.eu in Estonia (registry code 16941644). Participation is scoped to the work and responsibilities agreed for each project.
